At the French Maternal School, fostering a love of reading begins at an early age. Our Lending Library (Bibliothèque de Prêt) offers a rich collection of children’s books that students can borrow and enjoy at home with their families.
Our Lending Library is a truly special space at the heart of our school community—a place where curiosity, imagination, and a love of reading come to life. We are proud to be the only preschool offering a full-size library, featuring a rich collection of more than 5,000 children’s books in French. This unique resource allows our students to explore language, stories, and culture in an immersive and inspiring environment, fostering early literacy and a lifelong passion for reading.
This program encourages children to:
